Private cars, exclusive access, the kind of small group that doesn't share the experience with strangers. Premium tours through Costa Maya for travellers whose calendar is the constraint, not the budget.
1Four-hour private fishing trip off Mahahual — target species include mahi mahi and barracuda with experienced crew aboard the Goddess of the Sea.
“Captain Axel and his crew were truly exceptional. After a thorough safety briefing, they quickly set lines as we left the reef. Using rigged ballyhoo and large lures, we caught barracuda right away. They handled the fish we wanted to keep humanely and released the rest. I also managed to catch a massive kingfish, a personal first. The equipment was top-notch, the beers were cold, and everyone was in good spirits. As a professional fisherman, I wholeheartedly recommend La Diosa Del Mar. When we returned, our fresh catch was cooked for us at a restaurant nearby for a small fee, while we enjoyed the view of the Caribbean Sea. Thank you, Captain Axel.”— Matt Y
2Looking for something unique and absolutely amazing? Hayhu is the place to go! We are located at a wonderful secluded beach that is set away from the vendors, hustlers, crowds, and commotion of the usual Costa Maya tourist beaches. So just come and let yourself be pampered! Although Hayhu is public, your day is strictly private! The beach club maintains its quality in food and service by limiting the access and preserving the “private beach” experience we want our costumers to enjoy. With this package you get the opportunity to choose among a large variety and dine on the specialties of barbeque and grilled dishes. You can savor a delicious steak seasoned and prepared in the South American style, unlike any other place in Costa Maya, or choose a dish of fresh fish or grilled seafood that will treat your palate. All our products are fresh and locally bought. The bar carries top shelf brands so you can enjoy your favorite adult beverages or even soft drinks and natural juices.
3Seven-hour guided tour with round-trip transport — explore Bacalar Lagoon, swim in cenotes, and enjoy lunch with tequila tasting.
“Jocelyn truly excelled at providing care for my mom and me during our experience. She offered great insights into the history of the cenotes and lagoons. The coordination with our ship's timing was excellent. Although I can’t recall the names of our boat and shuttle drivers, they ensured our safety throughout. We enjoyed refreshing Mexican drinks and fruit, which added to the experience. I highly recommend this to anyone and plan to return next year.”— V7862AVveronicar
4Five hours by private vehicle — visit Chacchoben's Mayan temples and relax at Mahahual beach with beach facilities included.
“We received a warm welcome and everything was well-organized. It was a wonderful experience for the family, and it was truly relaxing to have someone greet us in an unfamiliar place.”— Elad_A
5A full-day beach pass — includes meals, drinks, and amenities at Nacional Beach Club, accessible by taxi from the port.
“The food is excellent, and the beach is very comfortable. However, the pool is quite small. I plan to return here whenever I visit Costa Maya. Be prepared to encounter vendors trying to sell items.”— Richard_F
6Unlimited high-quality drinks at Yaya Beach's open bar, with top-rated food options, including vegan choices.
“I chose this beach resort during our cruise stop in Costa Maya. The taxi fare was $5 per person each way, and the friendly staff welcomed us and helped us find lounge chairs. Although we could select our location, the resort was quite small, squeezed between two other businesses. The beach was tidy, but the water appeared murky and dirty. The swimming area was limited, situated next to a dive shop with boats anchored very close. There were also motorboats passing by, creating waves and a noticeable gasoline smell, which felt unsafe. Additionally, there was an unpleasant sewage-like odor affecting the area. While the drinks were enjoyable, the food was just average, and bar service was inconsistent. I likely won't visit again.”— lauriec783
