Our other guide, Jenkins, was also knowledgeable and provided intriguing facts throughout the journey. He deserves admiration for his efforts in collecting plastic and trash from the beach, a task I respect greatly. Unfortunately, we did notice a significant amount of litter along the coastline during our hike out, which is disheartening in such a stunning natural environment. Attracting volunteers for regular cleanups would be beneficial since debris continues to wash up due to ocean currents.
