I had a wonderful afternoon exploring the various types of mangroves. The paddle was relaxed and enjoyable. While I spotted a few birds and crabs, wildlife was limited. I also tasted a unique fruit that resembled a blend of pineapple, banana, and pear, which I found delightful. The refreshments, including the fruit and water at the end, were a lovely bonus. Using sit-on-top kayaks made it helpful to have a sarong to keep my legs cool and protected from the sun.

She provided valuable insights about the various mangrove species and the wildlife inhabiting that area, even going as far as to get an unusual fruit for us to try. On the day of our tour, a cruise ship was in port, which meant we were part of a large group along with other kayak tours. If you prefer a more personal experience, it may be best to avoid days when cruise ships are in town.
