We witnessed stunning auroras on 3 of the 4 nights during our stay in Yellowknife. Despite the extreme cold, the skies were clear, and I even spotted some shooting stars. Dressed in two pairs of snow pants and warm layers, I had no trouble standing outside for hours in -35 degrees, enjoying the beautiful views. I discovered that capturing time-lapse videos on my iPhone produces remarkable results. Seeing the auroras with my own eyes was an unforgettable experience. I might return next September before the lake freezes to see them again.Teresa_L
