This snowmobiling tour was an incredible experience for me as a beginner. The guide was fantastic in boosting my confidence and giving clear safety instructions. I was also thankful that they continued with the tour even though there weren’t enough participants. The diverse terrain made it enjoyable: the bumpy trails were a lot of fun, and I appreciated being able to go at my own pace. The smooth, fast lake segment was thrilling, reaching speeds of 35 km/h. It was a perfect and safe adventure for those new to snowmobiling.

Our Judo Club enjoyed an ice fishing and snowmobiling event with Destination NWT. Their focus on safety and snowmobile operation was impressive. By the day's end, my youngest son, who once feared snowmobiling, was eager to zoom around the lake. My oldest, initially reluctant, ended up having an incredible time riding his own snowmobile. The ice fishing shacks were warm and ready upon our arrival, and we caught a nice-sized white fish. This experience was perfect for team bonding.
