We had a wonderful experience! Our guide was friendly, knowledgeable, and had a positive outlook. While we waited for the Aurora to appear, he highlighted different features in the sky and shared insights about life in the NWT. We shared laughs, took plenty of photos, and created lasting memories. I would definitely recommend this experience!
Though the weather conditions were poor, preventing us from seeing the Northern Lights, the guides were knowledgeable and friendly. They adapted our location based on real-time information from other guides. While the circumstances limited our experience, their positive attitude stood out. We still appreciated the Wildlife Preserve and Takhini Hot Springs tour, and we were thrilled to finally see the Aurora on our last night.
Mr. Robinson, our guide, truly enhanced the experience with his friendly demeanor, extensive knowledge of Yellowknife and the aurora, and his ability to explain everything clearly. The private and adaptable nature of the tour allowed us to witness an incredibly stunning aurora at our designated location. It was genuinely the best day of my life. Thank you!
I recently experienced an incredible Aurora trip that I will never forget. Our guide was exceptionally knowledgeable, offering captivating insights about the area and the Northern Lights. They kept ahead of the group to secure the best viewing spots while steering clear of crowds. The private tour added a special touch, providing tailored attention and flexibility in our plans. Witnessing the Northern Lights in such a personal atmosphere was truly enchanting. I highly recommend this tour for anyone wanting to discover the beauty of the auroras with excellent guidance and an unforgettable experience.
This tour was exceptional, largely thanks to our amazing guide Lovingson. If you're in Yellowknife, this experience is one you shouldn't pass up.
We enjoyed witnessing the northern lights, and our guide brought us to a dark location perfect for viewing. However, we were let down when the promised photos never arrived; even after a month, we still hadn't received them despite sharing our email with the guide.
While there's no assurance of witnessing the Northern Lights, it's said that the chances are lowest during October and November, leading most tour operators to shut down their tours. We didn't spot any lights and were aware of the slim odds. The guide was friendly, but for a four-hour tour with limited likelihood of seeing the auroras, I expected more effort to engage us—such as sharing the history of Yellowknife and the Northwest Territories, driving around to highlight city attractions, and discussing the science and folklore surrounding auroras.
Lovingson, our tour guide, was incredibly knowledgeable about the northern lights and provided thorough explanations about their nature. He prefers small groups, and we ended up being just the two of us. To avoid light pollution and crowds, he took us to less popular spots. Although we could not see any northern lights after two hours, we still had a fantastic experience. I would gladly join any tour with Lovingson again.
The guide was very pleasant and accommodating. The driving was smooth, and I enjoyed snacks and hot chocolate along the way. Overall, the experience was enhanced by the guide's friendly demeanor.
