This tour offers a fantastic overview of Halifax's highlights for a day shore excursion, providing better value than a crowded, inflexible cruise option. A standout moment was visiting the lobster distributor, where we learned about lobsters and saw an impressive 13-pound lobster with a claw larger than my hand. Al, our tour guide, was pleasant and incredibly knowledgeable about Halifax's history. I would give this experience five stars without hesitation.Michael_H

This was a great opportunity to explore more of Halifax beyond the cruise ship terminal area. With Anant, our driver, we tailored our private tour based on our interests. We reached locations inaccessible to larger buses and got closer to attractions, which was beneficial for our older passengers. Our trip allowed us to see a lot!Robert_M

Two hours on the water — catch various fish species with experienced guides in Halifax's rich marine ecosystems.

I had an excellent experience with the Sea Halifax fishing tour in September, with plenty of action on the water. Special thanks to Brandon for reaching out and moving me to an earlier 11 am tour when I was initially scheduled for 4 pm on September 8th, which freed up my afternoon. Johnathan was our knowledgeable fishing guide who expertly took us to the best spots for catching big fish. The boat provided all necessary gear, including rods, lures, and life jackets, so there was no need to bring your own tackle or get a fishing license as it was all included in the tour. We traveled about 20 minutes southwest from the Halifax Harbour, where we successfully caught both mackerel and cod. Although others started out catching mackerel, I was among the first to reel in larger cod. In total, I caught 4 mackerel and 4 cod, with my biggest catch weighing between 5 to 8 lbs. The fishing was primarily catch and release for the larger cod, while you could keep the smaller 1 to 2 lb mackerel if you chose. This excursion was mainly about sport fishing. A minor downside was that I felt seasick during the tour, which was not the fault of the service. I recommend eating well and taking some Gravol before heading out, as ocean waves are quite different from freshwater lakes. Overall, I thoroughly enjoyed my time with Sea Halifax and highly recommend the two-hour fishing tour for anyone looking to catch some big fish.Kirk_S

Our goal was to visit Peggy's Cove, and unlike other excursions that offered only 30 minutes, we were thrilled to have 75 minutes thanks to TripAdvisor. It was a fantastic experience without time constraints. The driver was competent, but Andy Smith, our guide, truly exceeded expectations.Venture56765333627
