10Four hours of exploration — boat trip over the glacier lake followed by a guided walk on the glacier, featuring floating icebergs and scenic views.
“This adventure was fantastic. We started at the park visitor center, where we took some time to explore the exhibit before heading to Styggevatnet Lake. After parking, we climbed a rocky hillside to reach the RIB boats, where we were provided with life vests. The boat ride across the lake led us to a stunning, remote glacier with beautiful blue ice, although we were mainly alone aside from our group. However, this excursion is not suitable for those with mobility challenges. I saw someone using a cane struggle on the initial uphill and later have trouble crossing to their boat due to instability. I managed to complete the trip with a pulled Achilles tendon, though I believe my doctor wouldn't have approved. Fortunately, I didn’t exacerbate my injury. The guides were very knowledgeable and professional, and I felt like we had an adequate amount of time on the ice.”— nbd17
11A full-day tour featuring kayaking on a glacial lake followed by a guided hike on Nigardsbreen Glacier, limited to small group sizes.
“I recently joined a tour with Kale and his team, and they performed exceptionally well despite challenging weather and some older, less fit participants. They prioritized safety and ensured everyone reached the glacier. For many, this was a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to kayak on a glacial lake and explore the glacier itself. If you find yourself in this region, I highly recommend going with Ice Troll.”— Amexpat56
12Two hours at a restored barn — sample local cheeses, meats, and jams while enjoying fjord views.
“This was truly the finest experience in Flåm. A new, beautiful restaurant has opened, featuring an interior that reflects incredible attention to detail and care. It’s a comfortable spot to relax and savor excellent food. If you're in Flåm, The Fjord Farm is a must-visit. I absolutely love it.”— I7935IXrichards
