Although we moved slowly with the kids, the rest of the group was accommodating, allowing us to finish the trek. The experience was excellent and highly organized. There was a nice mix of kayaking, hiking, and walking on the glacier. Suitable for everyone, our guides Marcelo and Kale were knowledgeable and made an effort to show us the highlights. It was a fantastic day.

We kayaked on a stunning aqua blue glacial lake and then hiked through rocky, other-worldly landscapes before ascending the glacier itself. The scenery and atmosphere were remarkable throughout. The guides—Cale, Marcello, and Tonya—demonstrated professionalism and experience. They engaged with each member of the group, learning about where we were from, which made it feel personal. They skillfully managed a diverse group including children, young adults, and older participants, ensuring everyone felt comfortable and included. At first, I had reservations about hiking on the glacier, but using crampons made it surprisingly manageable. The pace was steady and I felt secure, yet it remained thrilling and unforgettable. Cale captured photos of each family or pair at various points, adding a thoughtful touch to the experience. This was our inaugural glacier hike, but certainly not our last. I highly recommend this tour.
The kayak, hike, and glacier trek were the best parts of our trip to Norway. Our guides were exceptional, especially in reassuring my wife when she felt anxious about the glacier hike. Their emphasis on safety and climbing gear usage was excellent. They were enjoyable and performed remarkably well. The stunning views of the glacier and lake were breathtaking. I would definitely do this again.
Kale was a fantastic guide, and the views from the glacier were spectacular. Make sure to wear all the recommended clothing, as it can get quite chilly up there.
