Guided tour of Borgund Stave Church and Vindhella

This three-hour tour begins at 12 PM at the visitor centre, equipped with exhibitions, a café, and toilets, where you can explore the displays before visiting Borgund Stave Church. You'll have a self-guided experience inside the church, listening to an audio guide while appreciating the medieval architecture; your ticket is valid for the entire day.

At 1:30 PM, join a knowledgeable guide outside the church for a walking tour up the east side of Vindhella. You'll navigate the famed hairpin bends and hear stories about the King's Road, its construction, the labor involved, and the historical significance of the area, including tales of ancient defenses and battles from the medieval era.
