I had a fantastic morning. Hisa collected us from our hotel, and we strolled through the morning market, which was wonderful to experience. Afterward, we visited her home, where her husband Bob welcomed us. Together, we made several dishes to enjoy later. The care taken was evident, the atmosphere was friendly and inviting, and the food was delightful. I highly recommend this experience.alwienew2026

The tour was thorough and our guide, Kumico, was exceptional. She utilized teaching materials such as photos, charts, and videos, and was always kind and patient with our questions. Her enthusiasm made us eager to return to Takayama. In my view, exploring Takayama without a guide would not offer the same experience. While I can't speak to other guides, I highly recommend Kumico.odeds428

This tour was fantastic! Takayama is lovely. Our guide, Mihoko, first took us to the Hida no-sato folk village, which was stunning. She shared her knowledge about how the locals live. Afterwards, we explored the charming old town streets, which are hard to describe due to their neatness. There were many shops, and Mihoko allowed us time to explore.Isaac_R
