  1. Hunts Mesa overnight camping and photography tour, Monument Valley1

    1. Hunts Mesa overnight camping and photography tour

    5.0· 21 reviews

An overnight camping tour in Monument Valley — capture sunset and sunrise, explore ancient Anasazi dwellings, and discover scenic sandstone arches.

The views were breathtaking. Toney Begay picked us up at the View Hotel and expertly navigated the rugged terrain of Hunt’s Mesa. This adventure is definitely for those seeking a challenge, but Toney made it seem effortless in his Chevy Suburban. We enjoyed stunning sunset vistas while he prepared a delicious meal of steak, baked potato, corn on the cob over an open flame with Pinion wood, along with tasty Navajo tea. My wife rested in the tent while I admired the star-filled sky, which was incredible on a new moon night. The sunrise from Tom Till Point was as beautiful as promised, offering sights from Colorado to Utah. Although there was some smoke from wildfires in the area, it didn’t take away from the fantastic morning light. Overall, we highly recommend Toney Begay and the overnight experience with Monument Valley Safari on Hunt’s Mesa.croderique
