An overnight camping tour in Monument Valley — capture sunset and sunrise, explore ancient Anasazi dwellings, and discover scenic sandstone arches.

The views were breathtaking. Toney Begay picked us up at the View Hotel and expertly navigated the rugged terrain of Hunt’s Mesa. This adventure is definitely for those seeking a challenge, but Toney made it seem effortless in his Chevy Suburban. We enjoyed stunning sunset vistas while he prepared a delicious meal of steak, baked potato, corn on the cob over an open flame with Pinion wood, along with tasty Navajo tea. My wife rested in the tent while I admired the star-filled sky, which was incredible on a new moon night. The sunrise from Tom Till Point was as beautiful as promised, offering sights from Colorado to Utah. Although there was some smoke from wildfires in the area, it didn’t take away from the fantastic morning light. Overall, we highly recommend Toney Begay and the overnight experience with Monument Valley Safari on Hunt’s Mesa.croderique on the Hunts Mesa overnight camping and photography tour tour

Three-hour guided tour covering 17 miles of Monument Valley, including visits to traditional Hogan and insights into Navajo culture and history.

Could I rate this experience higher than 5 stars? We joined the sunset to dinner tour in a Jeep, and it was fantastic. The guide took us to truly remarkable spots and ensured we had ample time at each location. For dinner, we dined in complete darkness at a farmhouse where a local family prepared a traditional meal. It was genuinely thrilling and something I would do again. I suggest bringing a bandana and sunglasses to protect against sand, and a light sweatshirt for the cooler evening temperatures.561luisaf on the Cultural tour of Monument Valley - 3 hours tour

Brian, our guide, was outstanding. During this tour, we explored Monument Valley and gained insight into its history and rock formations. Expect some bumpy, dusty roads; if you're on an open truck, bring a hat or scarf to cover your mouth. Be sure to stop and visit a hogan to learn about Elvina and her family's living quarters.Sherrry_J on the Monument Valley backcountry tour tour

On May 6th, we had an excellent tour with Larson as our guide. He was welcoming and answered all our questions, showcasing his deep knowledge of Navajo traditions and the reservation. We could have listened to his stories all day. Monument Valley is stunning, and this tour was well-organized. My husband and I had enjoyed Larson's guidance previously, and I was thrilled to have him when introducing my sister and her husband to this remarkable place. Grateful to Navajo Spirit Tours and Larson for a fantastic experience.Suzanne_W on the Group tour of Monument Valley with Navajo Spirit Tours tour
