8Two hours of rafting on the Class 2 Athabasca River — scenic views and splashy rapids suitable for families and those with no prior experience.
“By early afternoon, we found ourselves boarding a yellow bus that resembled something from a schoolyard, making our way towards the river. This trip was not to a classroom but to experience our first rafting adventure. The bus ride was vibrant, filled with fellow travelers from Scotland, England, Ontario, and even a few kids, which eased our worries, confirming that the experience would be more enjoyable than frightening. At around 1:30 PM, we began our journey, chatting and laughing as we anticipated paddling downstream. While the bus ride was an exciting prelude, the real adventure awaited us on the water. For an hour and a half, we paddled, splashed, and allowed the river to guide us. During our rafting experience, we encountered remarkable wildlife: • Two impressive elk standing majestically on the shore, showcasing the wilderness of the area. • An osprey that soared right above us, returning to its nest. The sight of its wings slicing through the air was truly memorable.”— TatianaP1468

His passion for Jasper, its surroundings, and the community was clear, as was his deep respect for nature. We couldn't have asked for a better guide. And we even spotted a moose!”— John_M
