Wildlife, forests, gardens, and the green pockets of Canmore that make it bearable in monsoon and beautiful by November. Day trips and short drives where the landscape is the point.
1A guided shuttle journey to Lake Louise and Moraine Lake, avoiding parking hassles while learning about the region.
“The entire tour was fantastic. Our guide, Ben, was both friendly and well-informed. He is definitely one of the best guides we’ve encountered.”— John_W
2A full day trip through Banff and Jasper National Parks — visit Crowfoot Glacier, Peyto Lake, and enjoy numerous photography stops along the scenic route.
“Everything went smoothly, although the itinerary included Lake Louise and we did not visit it. I would suggest allowing more time at the glacier, as we ended up without time for lunch.”— Yuliia_Z
3Full day, private SUV or van, tailored itinerary across Banff, Lake Louise, and Moraine Lake with dedicated guide.
“We had a wonderful day with Anchit. He was delightful, knowledgeable, and incredibly kind, making the experience fun and engaging. We learned a lot and were truly thrilled with everything we saw, including beautiful lakes, waterfalls, and mountains. It was a fantastic trip that we all cherished.”— 934jeanninek
4Seven hours by bus — visit Moraine Lake, Lake Louise, and the Icefields Parkway with expert guidance and seasonal variations in the itinerary.
“Raoul was an outstanding guide, and the transportation was of high quality. He provided informative insights and was consistently helpful throughout the entire day.”— Anthony C
5Eight hours by air-conditioned van — choose between hiking to Lake Agnes Teahouse, canoeing on Moraine Lake, or sightseeing at both lakes with guided access.
“Our driver had extensive knowledge and shared insights about the fencing installed to protect animals from traffic. He was personable and engaging. We spotted a large black bear, and he informed us about a bear known as Boss. This trip was truly enjoyable.”— Tamara C
6Four hours, comfortable transport, hot beverages included — enjoy sunrise views at Moraine Lake and Lake Louise without the crowds.
“We participated in an early morning small-group tour led by our guide and driver, Ozzy. The experience began with a 4am pickup, but we were greeted warmly and soon headed to Moraine Lake. Having heard about the challenges of arriving before sunrise only to deal with full car parks and long shuttle waits, booking a sunrise tour felt like the best option for us. We reached Moraine Lake about half an hour before sunrise, where Ozzy prepared tea and coffee for our group, along with delicious maple biscuits. He provided small backpacks with seats and blankets for our comfort. We then embarked on a 10-minute walk up to the Rockpile, which was an easy hike despite some uneven sections, so good footwear is necessary. Sitting on a rock, wrapped in a blanket with a warm coffee, and waiting for the first light on the mountains was a magical experience. While we weren't completely alone—given that this is Canada’s most photographed lake—it only added to the ambiance as everyone comes to appreciate the same stunning view. The sunrise was spectacular. Although it was cloudy and misty on our way up, the mist cleared, revealing breathtaking peaks bathed in soft golden light. We highly recommend Jumper Tours. After our time at Moraine Lake, we moved on to Lake Louise. It felt a bit less impressive by comparison—Moraine Lake truly shines—but it was still enjoyable to visit.”— tomj932
