Twelve-mile round trip ride on easy trails and quiet roads—wine tasting included at local vineyards and guided insights on the area's history.

Our tour guide was very friendly and accommodating, which we appreciated. The relaxed atmosphere at Hook & Ladder winery was enjoyable, and their wine was nice. We had a great time playing bocce and basking in the sun. The biking was a blast, and we loved Pellagrini winery as well. Our host was fantastic, and their picnic area was a perfect spot for our lunch.Sally_T

    3. E-bike rental for exploring Santa Rosa and wine country

Flexible rental in Santa Rosa — explore the city and wine country on an electric bike at your own pace.

This bike riding experience was extremely disappointing. From the moment we entered the shop on 5th St in Santa Rosa, it felt troubling. Despite numerous communications about the bike ride and paying $280 for two, the staff could not locate our reservation. He just told us to choose any two bikes, handed us helmets, and said to return by 4:00 p.m. We weren't asked to sign any waiver, which felt unprofessional. We expected maps of scenic routes for the self-guided tour, but were given vague directions instead. Renting bikes for $280 without any guidance was outrageous. We've rented bikes worldwide, and this was by far the worst experience. We even found one suggested biking trail that was unappealing and overcrowded. We will not recommend this ride. We rode on Thursday, August 1, at 11:00 a.m. during the "Best E-Bike Rental" Self-Guided 3-hour tour.Lynn_S

It was our first ride of the day, and the horses were all set. Emma did an excellent job as our trail leader, and both horses responded well to her commands and were knowledgeable about the route. The ride was both easy and picturesque.jenniferbX9639HB

Three hours aboard a custom safari vehicle through Safari West — see giraffes, rhinos, zebras, and over 800 other animals across 400 acres.

What an amazing safari experience we had in Northern California. We thoroughly enjoyed our ride through the landscape and learned so much from our driver and guide, Kimberly. There’s a lot to discover about the animals, and we also noted the lodging options available. Although we didn't stay, those we encountered who did shared positive feedback. It’s clear they care for the animals and have thoughtfully designed habitats for each species.Dansy325

Safari West was amazing. The tour offered stunning scenery and a variety of animals. Our guide, Michelle, was fantastic and truly suited for this role. She provided excellent information, insight, and had a wonderful personality. Her enthusiasm and pride for the park and its mission were evident. It was worth every penny.David_Z
