This bike riding experience was extremely disappointing. From the moment we entered the shop on 5th St in Santa Rosa, it felt troubling. Despite numerous communications about the bike ride and paying $280 for two, the staff could not locate our reservation. He just told us to choose any two bikes, handed us helmets, and said to return by 4:00 p.m. We weren't asked to sign any waiver, which felt unprofessional. We expected maps of scenic routes for the self-guided tour, but were given vague directions instead. Renting bikes for $280 without any guidance was outrageous. We've rented bikes worldwide, and this was by far the worst experience. We even found one suggested biking trail that was unappealing and overcrowded. We will not recommend this ride. We rode on Thursday, August 1, at 11:00 a.m. during the "Best E-Bike Rental" Self-Guided 3-hour tour.
The service was excellent and very friendly. The staff was extremely helpful, even escorting us to the starting point of the bike trail. We had a wonderful time on our first experience with an e-bike.
Fantastic experience all around. We explored West County, our home, as if we were tourists. It was the best! The bikes were an excellent way to travel and truly enhanced the experience.
Our experience biking with Colin through Santa Rosa and into wine country was fantastic. The scenery was stunning, the trails were safe and free of traffic, and the e-bikes were powerful and easy to handle. The wine at our destination was perfect, complemented by a delightful snack of salumi and local cheese along with excellent Pinot Noir. Overall, it was a wonderful day.
This location is excellent, particularly if you haven't ridden in some time. They thoroughly explain the bike functionality and allow you to practice on a peaceful street until you feel at ease. Colin guided us to the beginning of the Joe Rodota trail, so we didn’t have to navigate on our own. We had a fantastic time riding to the Barlow and will definitely return for another experience.
This experience was fantastic! My wife and I are excited to do it frequently now. We enjoyed riding to Sebastopol on the Joe Rodota trail and then relaxing with a beer. Colin was an excellent guide, showing us the trail and helping us get started before we rode. It's very easy and perfect for a nice day out. A Saturday couldn't be better.

We thoroughly enjoyed our bike tour with our guide, Scott. We rode along the greenway and made a stop at Hook & Ladder Winery. The bikes were well-maintained, and the ride was smooth and suitable for beginners. I highly recommend this as a fun way to spend a few hours in Santa Rosa.
