We had an incredible experience with our host, Briana, who was very knowledgeable and made us feel at ease. The views were stunning, and we enjoyed ourselves thoroughly. We are definitely planning to return.
The trails are stunning, offering plenty of shade and great views. The atmosphere is friendly and efficient, making it feel like you're in Europe, even though you're only 1.5 hours from San Francisco.
Our horse riding adventure in Sonoma was fantastic! Right from the start, it was evident that this small, family-run operation genuinely values their horses and visitors. The staff was exceptionally friendly, patient, and welcoming, particularly with our kids who were slightly anxious at first. The horses were calm, well-cared-for, and paired perfectly with each rider’s skill level. Our guides took the time to ensure everyone was comfortable and well-informed before we set off on the trail. The views were stunning—rolling hills, serene vineyards, and the iconic Sonoma countryside that one hopes to see. What truly set this experience apart was the personal touch. It’s clear this family takes pride in their work, making us feel like guests rather than mere customers. It became one of the memorable highlights of our trip that our entire family will cherish. For an authentic and relaxed horseback riding experience in Sonoma, with kind staff and well-loved horses, I highly recommend this place. We will certainly return!
It was an exciting and enjoyable experience with excellent service.
The team was welcoming and punctual. The ride was excellent, and they accommodated our group of beginners very well. Thank you for a wonderful experience!
This was a truly peaceful experience. The setting offers stunning views of the valleys and lakes. The team is knowledgeable, extremely friendly, and very accommodating.
We spent a couple of weekdays nearby, and this activity turned out to be the highlight of our stay in Healdsburg. Our 10am ride included four from our group, two additional riders, and two guides. Although it was chilly and overcast at first, the sun eventually came out and it was beautiful. The guides provided helpful riding tips and shared their knowledge about the area. We took a nice group photo at a scenic viewpoint. The ranch offered wifi, beverages for sale, and stunning lake views. I would highly recommend this experience. It took some time to get everyone mounted, so plan for about an extra half hour beyond the expected timeframe. We never felt rushed; it was a leisurely and enjoyable experience.
This was an amazing experience. We thoroughly enjoyed our trail ride, and the scenery was breathtaking. I would highly recommend it to others.
It was our first ride of the day, and the horses were all set. Emma did an excellent job as our trail leader, and both horses responded well to her commands and were knowledgeable about the route. The ride was both easy and picturesque.
Although we are novice riders, our guide and the horses were outstanding, which enabled us to take in the breathtaking views from above the lake, hills, and nearby vineyards. The Ranch, where we began and concluded our ride, was an added bonus, offering a great spot for wine and more beautiful scenery.
