Heritage walks, museum days, temple complexes, and the kind of guides who explain why a place matters rather than reciting dates. The cultural side of Salt Lake City, paced for actual seeing.
1Half-day in a spacious Mercedes Sprinter — explore Bonneville Salt Flats, the Tree of Utah sculpture, and Great Salt Lake State Park with a professional guide.
“Experiencing this in person was quite impressive. The photos fail to capture its true beauty. Watching the vehicles pass through was fascinating, although the wind was strong during our visit.”— luv2travel_cruise
2Four hours by Mercedes Sprinter — wildlife viewing, a hike to Buffalo Point, and stunning sunset views over the Great Salt Lake.
“This was truly one of the best experiences I've ever had. The views were breathtaking, and the tour guide was fantastic.”— charlottemR9693KQ
3Five hours, private vehicle — explore Park City, scenic Heber Valley, Deer Creek Reservoir, and Bridal Veil Falls with options for local cheese sampling.
“Shawn was friendly and very flexible with our schedule and pick-up point. His extensive knowledge of the area significantly enhanced the experience, making it a great value for the money spent.”— Jay_S
4Flexible bus tour around Salt Lake City — explore landmarks with onboard narration, hop off and on as you choose, with real-time tracking available.
“I participated in the tour on a Sunday, but many of the attractions were closed. Even if I wanted to stop at one, I would have to wait 90 minutes for the bus to return instead of the advertised 45 minutes. Consequently, no one else got off at any stops. I had intended to join on Saturday, but due to street closures, I was rescheduled to Sunday, unaware that most places would be closed.”— Evonne_B
5Eighty minutes aboard a unique trolley — guided tour through historical districts with three entertaining performers sharing engaging tales.
“This experience was truly one-of-a-kind! Shayla and Catherine provided an immersive narrative about the history of Salt Lake City, making it easy to appreciate the city's rich culture. We left feeling uplifted and eager to learn more about what makes this city so special. Many thanks to both of you from two well-traveled individuals from Yorkshire!”— deidre_f
6Two and a half hours by air-conditioned bus — a 20-mile route covering landmarks like Temple Square and the Utah State Capitol, with live local narration throughout.
“This tour is a must if you’re visiting Salt Lake City. Grant was both engaging and informative. The pace of the tour was excellent, with multiple stops where we could get off the bus.”— janethI2856MK
7A comprehensive 2.5-hour guided bus tour of Salt Lake City, including a live performance by the Tabernacle Choir on Thursday or Sunday.
“The venue was outstanding, and the choir was impressive. Even as someone who typically doesn't enjoy choir music, I found the experience enjoyable. I would definitely recommend it to others.”— Drew M
8Five days via comfortable transport — explore Yellowstone, Grand Teton National Park, Mount Rushmore, and more, with guided visits and accommodations included.
“The tour offered excellent value, covering numerous attractions in just four days. Most of the hotels were satisfactory, but the 14-passenger bus had high steps that made entry and exit challenging for some guests. A foldable step stool would have been helpful.”— Laura_A
9General admission ticket — explore over 50 interactive exhibits challenging your perceptions at the Museum of Illusions, located in The Gateway, downtown Salt Lake City.
“This experience was captivating and interactive. Every exhibit inspired curiosity, surprise, wonder, laughter, and "ah" moments. I highly recommend it to anyone visiting Salt Lake City.”— alannejonc
10Two to three hours with a local guide — tailored exploration of Salt Lake City’s history and architecture, with optional museum visits on request.
“I scheduled a three-hour private tour in Salt Lake City on May 9th, starting at 8:00 AM, for USD 357.25. A younger man from Peru in his 30s, who has lived in Salt Lake City for a few years, picked me up on time. Unfortunately, he lacked knowledge about the city, including its history, architecture, and nearby attractions. He couldn't provide insights into the geology or the economy and needed me to lead the conversation. This experience was a significant disappointment and a waste of both time and money. I’ve filed a formal complaint and am still awaiting a response and my refund.”— KarlAndreas_B
