Dmytro, our guide, was fantastic. This tour became the highlight of our short visit to SLC. He arrived on time, picked us up from our Airbnb, and had water ready for us. He provided an excellent overview of SLC's history while taking pictures along the way. The flats were stunning, and the hike was enjoyable—you'll definitely feel it, but it's not too strenuous. He also provided snacks. I highly recommend this tour; you won't regret it. Thank you, Dmytro, for your professionalism and time.
If you visit during the winter, be prepared for cold weather. The drive from Salt Lake City is quite lengthy. The views are impressive, and it turned out to be even better than I anticipated. Nature is truly amazing. Our guide, Dina, was excellent.
Prepare yourself for an unforgettable adventure! We took our family, including young kids, on this experience and it will always be memorable for us. I was surprised by how far the salt flats are from the city center, so having someone drive us was very helpful. Our guide, Dima, shared valuable information and insights during the trip. The salt flats were stunning and beyond what I anticipated. Although it rained a bit, Dima was very flexible and adapted to what the group wanted. He also has a talent for photography. We also had an unexpected hike to the highest point! Dima checked with the group first, and my kids opted to do it and had a blast. Initially, I questioned why the tour lasted eight hours, but with the drive included, we experienced and saw so much. It was a fantastic way to explore the outskirts of Salt Lake City. I highly recommend this tour!
My first visit to Salt Lake City was memorable, especially the tour to Bonneville Salt Flats, which I chose after much consideration. The hotel transfer was convenient, with pick-up at 8:15 and return at 15:40. I was accompanied by my 90-year-old mother, and the group had 12 participants, some of whom were late. Although my English isn't great, our guide Dima was incredibly knowledgeable and provided rich insights into the area's history and religious significance. While Silver Island Mountain required some climbing that my mother couldn't manage, she otherwise enjoyed the tour. Dima also suggested ways to pass the time between the end of the tour and my Amtrak trip at a buffet called Chuck-A-Rama, which turned out to be a nice experience. However, I made a mistake regarding the Amtrak station hours; it opens at 10 PM, and since we couldn't enter beforehand, I couldn't check my luggage in time. If you're planning to take an Amtrak journey after this tour, be sure to keep that in mind.
We were unsure what to expect from this tour, but we had an excellent experience. Although it required a long drive, Dima provided a wealth of information along the way. It was quite windy and a little cold, but Dima offered to take photos of us, which was delightful. We truly value Dima's professionalism, friendly attitude, and passion for the outdoors.
This tour was a delightful surprise beyond typical sightseeing experiences. The guide, who owns the company, took us to three distinct spots near the Utah-Nevada border to see the salt flats and desert, with a brief visit to the Tree of Life. I appreciated having ample time at each location, and the guide graciously offered to take photos for everyone. We enjoyed a moderate hike up a desert ridge to view the salt flats and expansive mountains and plains. He shared extensive information about the area's landscape, history, and geology, along with personal insights from living in Salt Lake City. Overall, it was an unforgettable experience that perfectly blended hiking and sightseeing. The guide was professional and made extra efforts to accommodate our schedules, including handling pick-ups and drop-offs.
This tour was incredible! I was on a work trip with just a day or two to explore, and I’m glad I chose it. Our guide, Dimah, was exceptionally talented and helped us capture many wonderful photos. He was friendly and engaging, sharing valuable insights about Utah and our visited sites. He also offered great food recommendations in the city. I highly recommend this tour for anyone visiting Salt Lake City!
Our experience at the Salt Flats was fantastic! The comfortable van made the long ride enjoyable, and there were snacks and water for everyone. Our guide was friendly and well-informed, sharing fascinating details about Salt Lake City and Utah's history, and he assisted us in capturing amazing photos.
The journey was enjoyable, and our knowledgeable guide shared numerous fascinating historical insights about Utah, the mountains, Salt Lake, and the impressive racing records established in the area.
Experiencing this in person was quite impressive. The photos fail to capture its true beauty. Watching the vehicles pass through was fascinating, although the wind was strong during our visit.
