This was an incredible experience. The guides provided us with a wealth of information about Halifax. The scenery was stunning. I highly recommend this company to everyone.
The title of the tour could be improved by removing "City Tour." While it remains part of the itinerary, it felt misleading based on our experience. However, Peggy's Cove was incredible and more than compensated for it. We had plenty of time to explore the unique rock formations and shop for souvenirs afterward. The location is truly breathtaking.
There was no guided tour at Peggy's Cove or the Citadel, just drop-offs. At the cemetery, the tour mainly involved the guide responding to questions. If dialect is a concern, inquire about the guide’s nationality, as understanding was challenging. A couple from the Southern US on the tour illustrated this, since the guide mentioned having trouble with their accent. Our guide was from India.
Rana was informative, friendly, and very engaging. He dedicated extra time to show us around the city, sharing insights about various sites and historical landmarks. He adjusted to our ship's late arrival by extending the start time by an hour and a half. We traveled in a comfortable Hyundai Sonata, and bottled water was supplied. We would gladly recommend this tour. He was patient, allowing us time to explore shops and grab snacks, and went above and beyond to address our questions and personal needs.
The private tour was a highlight for us, allowing for a more personalized experience than being in a large group. Our driver was well-informed about the historical places we explored and was friendly and easy to talk to on various subjects. I valued his accommodating nature and that he didn’t rush us through any of the sites.
My wife and I truly enjoyed our experience. Our guide was both friendly and knowledgeable, making the tour feel very personal. Since it was just the two of us at that time of year, we appreciated the smaller group size of up to six participants for a more customized experience. I would definitely recommend this tour.
I understand that I made the reservation on the same day, but the last-minute cancellation was quite disappointing. Luckily, the hotel offered their own tour service.

Nav's humor and kindness made the tour engaging and enjoyable throughout. The views were stunning, and we found the cost justified given our experience. Visiting outside peak season allowed us ample space for sightseeing and shopping without the usual crowds. We strongly recommend both this tour and Nav as a guide.
