Reviews
The transport for the tour was luxurious and very comfortable. Our guide, Raymond, was punctual and did an excellent job. He was personable and had great knowledge of the area and its history. The duration of the visit was just right—neither too long nor too short. Overall, a really pleasant experience.
My boyfriend and I enjoyed an incredible private tour. We visited popular spots like Peggy's Cove and the Citadel, but what stood out was the deeper understanding of Halifax's history and culture. Our guide, Raman, was exceptional. The hour we spent at each location was just right for exploring and shopping.
I had a fantastic outing led by Omar, who took us to the Citadel and the Titanic Cemetery in Halifax before heading to Peggy's Cove. He was friendly, well-informed, and a skilled driver. Omar arrived on time, and we enjoyed a delightful, engaging, and informative afternoon. Peggy's Cove was stunning and tranquil as we explored the area. Thank you, Omar.
I had a very disappointing experience. Although the tour guide was friendly and drove adequately, he lacked the necessary knowledge to provide a proper tour. We encountered conflicting historical details compared to previous tours in Halifax. To make matters worse, we paid for a complete tour of the citadel, which was closed, and the tour company didn’t verify its status beforehand. The guide offered no alternatives or explanations, leaving us feeling cheated. I've taken many tours in different cities, and I can confidently say this was the worst. I recommend finding better options for your money.
Peggy’s Cove was a delightful experience and definitely worth the price of the tour. However, I was disappointed with the citadel. The description mentioned a live guide would be there to provide an overview, but instead, we were simply dropped off and told to come back in 30 minutes.
A big thank you to Brittany for leading the tour. Her knowledge went beyond the itinerary. I especially appreciate her reminders, explanations, patience, and kindness throughout the experience.
The pick-up and drop-off were seamless. Our guide, Quinn, was friendly, knowledgeable, and provided a delightful experience throughout. The van was very clean and comfortable, and we had ample time to explore Peggy's Cove, the cemetery, and the Citadel.
Our guide and driver Sonny provided an excellent experience. The journey was comfortable and he shared valuable insights at every location. The citadel was fascinating, and I felt that some may need additional time there. Peggy’s Cove resembled a quaint Cornish village filled with craft shops and the iconic lighthouse. Visiting the Titanic memorial graves was particularly poignant for us, given our connection to Southampton, the departure point for many of the lost seamen.
I really enjoyed this small tour, which included seven passengers plus the driver. The lighthouse was lovely, even with the rain and wind we experienced. I wish we had more time at the Citadel, as it was quite fascinating. The pick-up and drop-off at our cruise ship right at the port made things convenient. Overall, the drives and scenery were beautiful.
I wouldn't recommend this. I tried to change my date but they wouldn't allow it. I was told to expect a response in an hour, but it has now been three days with no reply.
