The tour continues to Ovens Natural Park, where you can stroll along coastal trails and discover intriguing sea caves. Your day concludes with a visit to the Titanic Graveyard, the resting place of over 100 Titanic victims, before taking a panoramic drive past Citadel Hill. We visited Peggy’s Cove and a few other locations. Although it’s a lengthy drive, the views are stunning, featuring plenty of lakes and lush greenery, with minimal traffic. Our driver, Ahmed, was professional, friendly, and an excellent driver. He shared interesting historical insights about each site and allowed us ample time for exploration and lunch. Even when we lingered too long at some spots, he remained patient and never rushed us, making the trip very enjoyable.
This was a great opportunity to explore more of Halifax beyond the cruise ship terminal area. With Anant, our driver, we tailored our private tour based on our interests. We reached locations inaccessible to larger buses and got closer to attractions, which was beneficial for our older passengers. Our trip allowed us to see a lot!
