This tour was amazing. Even as someone who has lived on the island for 12 years, I discovered so much about Cape Breton that was previously unknown to me. We went on a winter tour where we snowshoed to the sap lines at the Margaree Valley Maple farm, followed by a tasting session. The stop at the Normaway Inn allowed us to interact with horses and an adorable donkey, and we also saw Highland Cattle. I have only positive things to say about the guides; our larger group utilized two jeeps traveling together. The level of customization they provide is impressive and truly unique for this island. Their access to remarkable locations is incomparable. This experience is definitely worth the investment—it's likely to become a highlight of your visit to the island.JayRawding

I went on this tour yesterday, and it was truly unforgettable. Our guide, Harry, was fantastic—knowledgeable, engaging, and approachable. His passion for sharing stories, history, and hidden treasures was evident. The tour was well-paced, comfortable, and thoughtfully organized. Considering the forecasted rain, Harry started on the West side before moving to the East to avoid the downpour. We had ample opportunities to take photos and appreciate the stunning views without feeling rushed. Harry's commentary made the lengthy drive enjoyable, filled with local insights, humor, and interesting facts that animated the trail. I also valued the personal touches—Harry ensured everyone was comfortable and enjoying themselves with thoughtful stops. By the end, it felt like a road trip with friends rather than just a tour. If you're in Cape Breton and want to explore the Cabot Trail stress-free, I highly recommend Cabot Discovery Tours. Be sure to ask for Harry; he truly enhances the experience.MJa9_88
