My first solo trip was truly memorable thanks to Harry. His enthusiasm made the experience fantastic, as he detailed everything with care and energy. He also kept us engaged during lunch at a lovely spot by sharing his photo album. I had an unforgettable time.
I went on this tour yesterday, and it was truly unforgettable. Our guide, Harry, was fantastic—knowledgeable, engaging, and approachable. His passion for sharing stories, history, and hidden treasures was evident. The tour was well-paced, comfortable, and thoughtfully organized. Considering the forecasted rain, Harry started on the West side before moving to the East to avoid the downpour. We had ample opportunities to take photos and appreciate the stunning views without feeling rushed. Harry's commentary made the lengthy drive enjoyable, filled with local insights, humor, and interesting facts that animated the trail. I also valued the personal touches—Harry ensured everyone was comfortable and enjoying themselves with thoughtful stops. By the end, it felt like a road trip with friends rather than just a tour. If you're in Cape Breton and want to explore the Cabot Trail stress-free, I highly recommend Cabot Discovery Tours. Be sure to ask for Harry; he truly enhances the experience.
The Cabot Trail experience is unmatched. It was both enjoyable and comfortable, providing an excellent opportunity to learn more about the region.
The tour exceeded our expectations. Harry was an excellent guide, full of knowledge and humor. We particularly appreciated exploring the quaint fishing villages and enjoyed some great ice cream. With just 11 passengers, the experience felt more personal, and it was nice to meet others from various countries and regions.
Bruce, our tour guide and driver, was outstanding. He had a relaxed demeanor, a great sense of humor, and provided plenty of information. The only improvement would have been more colorful leaves, but that's up to Mother Nature. Highly recommend!
Our guide Frank ensured we experienced as much of the Cabot Trail as possible while keeping us on schedule for our cruise ship. He was friendly and engaging during the tour, though at times a bit too talkative—some quiet moments would have been nice. It was a scenic drive with many stops along the route.
An outstanding day on the Cabot Trail. I highly recommend this experience. The vehicle was comfortable and the driver was very safe. Our guide, Brian, was knowledgeable and a lot of fun. A perfect 5-star day!
Touring Nova Scotia, the Cabot Trail was our top priority. With only a day in Baddeck and Cape Breton, we chose to join this tour, and it was worth every penny. Bruce picked us up at the Baddeck visitor center. After taking the Bar Harbor ferry the previous afternoon, we spent the night in New Glasgow. Just a heads up, it’s a long drive from Yarmouth to Baddeck, and the tour starts promptly at 9 am. Bruce, a friendly local expert, guided us on a scenic 180-mile trip with excellent stops and a fantastic lunch spot. The sunny weather made everything even more spectacular. Thank you!
Our tour experience with "Father Harry," our driver and guide, was truly wonderful. Harry's engaging personality and deep knowledge, combined with his warm hospitality, made us feel like old friends right away. The tour had a great pace, allowing for numerous stops for stunning views and photo opportunities. A memorable highlight was spotting a large moose along the road in Cape Breton Highlands National Park.
The Cabot Trail Tour met all our expectations, offering beautiful weather with stunning skies and impressive cloud formations. Unlike our previous visit 25 years ago in complete fog, this time we were part of a small group, just three other guests alongside us. As someone of Scottish descent living in Canada, I appreciated witnessing the rich tapestry of Scottish culture and tradition. It was also heartening to see the Mi'kmaq reclaiming their heritage and the Acadians becoming more prominent, providing a clearer representation of all the main cultures. Our guide, Frank MacLeod, was not only humorous but also very knowledgeable about the Trail's history and geography, making for a learning experience at every stop. Overall, the tour was enjoyable, reasonably priced, and offered comfortable transport. We highly recommend it.
