When Whitehorse is your base but the destination is somewhere else for the day. Fully-organised round trips with private transport, guides, and the reservations sorted before you leave the hotel.
1Four hours in Yukon's backcountry — 20 to 50 kilometres on snowmobiles with guided breaks for photography and tailored pacing to suit the group.
2Full-day tour from Whitehorse, featuring moderate hikes with views of Emerald Lake and Carcross Desert along with local cultural insights.
3Half-day trip from Whitehorse — scenic views at Miles Canyon, Emerald Lake, Carcross Desert, and gold panning experience.
“Great value for the experience. The guide was friendly and knowledgeable, ensuring the trip maintained a comfortable pace. There was some overlap with the Skagway tour, as Carcross served as a restroom and coffee break stop.”— John_S
4Four hours of wildlife viewing at Yukon Wildlife Preserve and relaxation at Eclipse Nordic Hot Springs, including opportunities for photography.
“I had an excellent time observing winter wildlife with the friendly and helpful guides, Ashiko and Sam. The hot springs provided a wonderful conclusion to the day, leaving me feeling warm and relaxed. I really enjoyed the Onsen pool and meditation room.”— 112121
5Full-day tour to Kluane National Park including a hike at Rock Glacier and visit to Da Kų Cultural Centre in Haines Junction.
“We were picked up promptly in a clean, modern bus and taken to the designated sites. The guide was knowledgeable, professional, and supportive. Frequent rest breaks were appreciated since it was a long day. However, the hike up the rock glacier became challenging after the boardwalk, with steep areas and stepping stones that could be difficult for those with mobility issues. My main disappointment was that the tour advertised a glacier view, but we didn't actually see it, which felt misleading. A bag lunch including a sandwich, water, an apple, and a granola bar was provided.”— FarFlungStarling
