We were picked up promptly in a clean, modern bus and taken to the designated sites. The guide was knowledgeable, professional, and supportive. Frequent rest breaks were appreciated since it was a long day. However, the hike up the rock glacier became challenging after the boardwalk, with steep areas and stepping stones that could be difficult for those with mobility issues. My main disappointment was that the tour advertised a glacier view, but we didn't actually see it, which felt misleading. A bag lunch including a sandwich, water, an apple, and a granola bar was provided.
Be cautious. The company has used a picture of a glacier as its main tour image, but they never planned to take us there. This feels deceptive. We only viewed one whole lake and part of another due to obstructive trees, followed by a 30-minute walk by a mountain. This tour is overpriced and dull. Although our guide Mariko was pleasant, the experience isn't worth even half of what we paid.
The location is stunning, but there is room for improvement with the food. It would be great to have the option to heat it, as it was served cold, and coffee should also be available.
Stunning scenery and plenty of opportunities for photography. The hikes were delightful. It's advisable to have sturdy footwear and to pack a meal. I had a wonderful time on the tour.
The park is breathtakingly beautiful. Our guide was informative, polite, and professional, skillfully providing information in two languages to keep everyone engaged. The hike was fantastic.
