    1. Live acoustic music session at Yarnbala, Coffin Bay

    5.0· 3 reviews· 4 hours

Join local and interstate musicians for an acoustic performance around the campfire while enjoying wood-fired pizzas and local beverages from Coffin Bay.

Traveling into the national park via bushland to Yarnbala on their minibus was a lovely experience. Pickup is available from Coffin Bay Yacht Club or can be arranged in advance. You arrive right by the main stage/bar/campfire. The venue, constructed from a diverse mix of reclaimed materials, blends seamlessly into the wooded surroundings, creating a laid-back and earthy vibe that enhances the enjoyment of live music, food, and drinks. You can choose from beers, wine, cider, or specially crafted cocktails featuring local ingredients, all beautifully presented. The hand-made pizzas are particularly tasty and highly recommended. On the night I attended, the live music was outstanding, performed by a trio named Samphire, featuring acoustic guitar, drums, and saxophone. Each night showcases different musicians and styles, ensuring something for everyone.slycarole

For a unique and relaxing getaway while in Port Lincoln, consider this informative and delicious excursion. If you want to escape the crowds and enjoy a lovely island experience, this is perfect. From beginning to end, the trip was captivating, featuring a charming and knowledgeable driver named Ash, an amphibious vehicle ride, a buggy tour of the private island, and a fantastic meal at the main building. The hospitality from the RUMI staff was exceptional, making this one of the highlights of our trip. Our only drawback was that the time flew by too quickly; we wished for a longer stay and are eager to return, especially once the Pickleball courts are built.Nebbsters

Michael shared a wealth of knowledge, making the journey informative. Lunch at The Fish Place was delicious and prepared us well for the afternoon spent at Whalers Way, where we searched for emus and koalas.
