This was the most incredible day trip I’ve experienced. Our guide was outstanding and had a wealth of local knowledge. The stunning views and wildlife we encountered in the national park and private areas were remarkable. The access we had through locked gates was unique to this tour. I highly recommend it!
The tour was both informative and enjoyable. Ian chose all the best locations in Port Lincoln and shared their fascinating stories. The fish and chips lunch was outstanding as well.
This was an incredible tour! The guides were fantastic, and I would happily do this tour again a hundred times. You won't regret joining; it's truly wonderful.
This tour was fantastic. Ian, our guide, was outstanding with his 50 years of local expertise. The scenery was breathtaking and varied. We enjoyed a delicious lunch at The Fresh Fish Place. Getting close to the koalas at Mikkira Station Koala Sanctuary was a highlight. I highly recommend this experience.
Chris was incredible. As a solo traveler, this tour, along with Chris and the wonderful people I encountered, truly made my trip and stands out as one of my travel highlights. Chris possesses remarkable expertise and is a tremendous asset to Untamed Escapes. I highly recommend this experience to everyone. If you're considering it, go for it! The insights gained during this tour are absolutely worth every cent and beyond. I am truly grateful—thank you, Chris.
I want to share my incredible experience! The views were stunning. Our guide Chris was fantastic—very friendly, knowledgeable, and an excellent driver. I gained so much insight into the area's history while enjoying the breathtaking scenery. This tour is a must-do if you’re in Port Lincoln.
You can tailor the tours to match your preferences, whether you want adventure or a more relaxed experience. Our guide Joe was only a few years older than us, which helped us connect easily. We went dune climbing in a 4x4, and while I had done it on an ATV before, one of my companions was new to the experience and loved it. We also got to see koalas up close and learned about the area's history. The conversation over coffee and biscuits was a highlight for me. Overall, it was a pleasant day.
Beebs picked us up at 8 am and dropped us off at 4:40 pm. During that time, we experienced an incredible tour of the Port Lincoln and Eyre Peninsula area, visiting Port Lincoln National Park, Sleaford Bay, and Wanna Lookout. We enjoyed morning tea at Stamford Hill and had a delicious lunch at the Fresh Fish Place, where the Nannygai fish, chips, and salad were the best I’ve ever had. We also explored Fishery Bay, Whalers Way, and Cape Wiles, where we spotted fur seals, and visited Mikkira Station Koala sanctuary, seeing an adorable koala with a baby, plus kangaroos and various birds. The tour concluded at the highest point in Port Lincoln, Winters Hill Lookout, after a visit to the marina. Beebs, our guide, was remarkable; with over 50 years in the area, his knowledge was outstanding. This is a world-class tour. Thank you, Beebs.
Our private tour with Joe was truly delightful. He was very knowledgeable and eager to share his insights, making the experience both informative and entertaining. We ventured through the dunes in Port Lincoln National Park, which was stunning and teeming with wildlife. In the afternoon, we explored Whalers Way and Mikkira Station Koala Sanctuary, where we saw koalas nestled in nearly every tree—an unforgettable experience. The additional cost for the private tour is definitely justified; it's a treat you should indulge in. Thanks to Untamed and especially to Joe, who went the extra mile to create lasting memories for us.
Exploring Port Lincoln and the national park with Michael was an amazing experience. With limited time, this day tour exceeded our expectations. Michael shared a wealth of knowledge, making the journey informative. Lunch at The Fish Place was delicious and prepared us well for the afternoon spent at Whalers Way, where we searched for emus and koalas. Michael deserves 5 stars for his role as an exceptional guide.
