The experience matched the description perfectly. Despite the rainy and unpleasant weather, it didn't affect our enjoyment. Just be aware that the island lacks food, drinks, and restrooms. The people were wonderful, and we encountered numerous turtles. I highly recommend this activity.Taylor_F
  5. Aquarium admission with Hop On Hop Off bus in Nouméa, Noumea8

    8. Aquarium admission with Hop On Hop Off bus in Nouméa

    4.5· 19 reviews· 1.5 hours

Explore Nouméa's Aquarium with admission and unlimited use of Hop On Hop Off buses for a day, including visits to 7 key locations.

As cruise ship passengers are not permitted to walk through the port, we had to take the ship shuttle to reach the terminal. Upon arrival, we noticed some vendors, and a couple of staff members in Lyvai shirts were present. They inquired about our reservation and, once I confirmed, moved us to the front of the line. We received our wristbands for the hop-on hop-off bus and tickets for the aquarium with ease, contrary to what some other reviewers had indicated. Buses arrived roughly every 20 to 30 minutes, which meant we didn't face long waits. The morning market operates only in the morning, so it’s best to visit there early. The aquarium, while small, was impressive with many fascinating fish displays. Be sure to check out the turtle area outside. Other companies provide double-decker bus tours, so if that's what you're looking for, you might consider those. However, we found this service adequate for transportation, though not a narrated tour. Completing the loop takes around 45 minutes, and the aquarium is the last stop, conveniently located across from a beach, making it easy to spend a full day there if you bring your beach gear.118bevs
