The tour guide was friendly and accommodating, and the vehicle was new and clean. He allowed us to set our own pace, and the locations we visited were stunning. Lunch was enjoyable, and the tour lasted over 9 hours as promised. However, we were only given one bottle of water during the two-hour journey to Bourail, which was warm by the time we got there. There were no refreshments provided in a cooler, and we weren’t offered a break for restrooms. The guide didn’t share much information about Noumea unless we specifically asked, resulting in a mostly quiet trip. Once we arrived at our destinations, he didn’t provide details about the areas we visited, making him feel more like a driver than a tour guide.
