07A guided tour of Barolo's underground Barricaia and a tasting of Nebbiolo wines, including Barolo.
“The location is lovely, situated on a hill with great views of the valleys. The visit was engaging, featuring thorough explanations and detailed responses to our inquiries. The cellar, though small, felt authentic and impactful. We opted for the tasting of three older Barolo vintages over two hours, which was very enjoyable. Each vintage from 2013, 2014, and 2015 was well-explained, accompanied by an excellent selection of cold cuts, cheeses, and hazelnuts that paired perfectly with the Barolo. We definitely plan to come back.”— W2559MGlucar
08Full-day tour in Langhe-Roero — visit a dairy farm and winery, cheese tasting, and lunch with local products included.
“Our daughter arranged this fantastic tour, and we are grateful she did. Nic picked us up promptly at Asti train station and showed us around the town, including the church in the Piazza. We were fortunate that it was the day of the annual market, which added to the town's vibrancy. We began with a visit to the renowned Asti chocolate company, followed by a delightful cheese tasting and ended with an exceptional wine tasting. I could elaborate on the outstanding cheese and wine location we visited, but I’ll keep this focused on the tour. Nic quickly grasped our enthusiasm for the countryside and guided us through scenic rolling hills and quaint villages while discussing food, wine, culture, history, and more. He is an excellent guide, and we look forward to returning for another experience. Overall, we enjoyed much more than just wine and cheese tasting.”— sudhagerk

11Full-day private tour in the Barolo region — vineyard walks, multiple wine tastings, and lunch at a local Piedmont restaurant, with insights directly from a winemaker.
“We planned a full-day tour that included visits to two Barolo producers, with lunch at a local eatery. Our guide, Alessio, was charming, fluent in English, and very knowledgeable. The morning started at Silvano Bolmida, a small family winery, where Francesco, the owner's son, shared insights about their wines and operations. We had an engaging discussion while tasting four wines, which gave us valuable context about the Barolo region. We enjoyed a superb lunch in La Morra before heading to our last stop, Paolo Scavino. There, we toured the production facilities and cellars, tasting six different wines, including their excellent Dolcetto d’Alba and the flagship Barolo ‘Bric del Fiasc’. Alessio, being a producer himself, had personal connections with both winemakers and brought great expertise about the region's wine culture and history. I highly recommend him.”— archiegham
12A full-day private tour through Langhe-Roero and Monferrato — taste Barolo, Barbaresco, Barbera and Dolcetto with local lunch at a trattoria.
“My husband and I visited the Piedmont region specifically to explore wineries in Barolo and Barbaresco. Not wanting to drive ourselves, we sought guidance and learned about Matteo through a highly recommended travel blog. When we contacted him months in advance, he quickly responded and created a custom itinerary tailored for us. Over two amazing days, Matteo guided us to fantastic wineries, and we truly appreciated our time with him and the vintners. The selections he made exceeded our expectations, and we look forward to planning our next trip with him.”— RLPAR
