Our daughter arranged this fantastic tour, and we are grateful she did. Nic picked us up promptly at Asti train station and showed us around the town, including the church in the Piazza. We were fortunate that it was the day of the annual market, which added to the town's vibrancy. We began with a visit to the renowned Asti chocolate company, followed by a delightful cheese tasting and ended with an exceptional wine tasting. I could elaborate on the outstanding cheese and wine location we visited, but I’ll keep this focused on the tour. Nic quickly grasped our enthusiasm for the countryside and guided us through scenic rolling hills and quaint villages while discussing food, wine, culture, history, and more. He is an excellent guide, and we look forward to returning for another experience. Overall, we enjoyed much more than just wine and cheese tasting.
