Barolo in Langhe-Roero and Monferrato — view 2
Barolo is a small village in the heart of the Langhe wine region, famed for producing some of Italy's finest Nebbiolo wines. The picturesque streets are lined with vineyards, historic cellars, and 19th-century buildings, with the imposing Barolo Castle offering stunning views of the rolling hills covered in vineyards. Visiting in autumn is particularly rewarding when the grape harvest is in full swing and local wine festivals celebrate the season. Take time to explore the wine cellars, where guided tastings reveal the traditional winemaking techniques. The nearby villages of La Morra and Monforte d'Alba provide further culinary delights and picturesque landscapes.

Full-day private tour in the Barolo region — vineyard walks, multiple wine tastings, and lunch at a local Piedmont restaurant, with insights directly from a winemaker.

We planned a full-day tour that included visits to two Barolo producers, with lunch at a local eatery. Our guide, Alessio, was charming, fluent in English, and very knowledgeable. The morning started at Silvano Bolmida, a small family winery, where Francesco, the owner's son, shared insights about their wines and operations. We had an engaging discussion while tasting four wines, which gave us valuable context about the Barolo region. We enjoyed a superb lunch in La Morra before heading to our last stop, Paolo Scavino. There, we toured the production facilities and cellars, tasting six different wines, including their excellent Dolcetto d’Alba and the flagship Barolo ‘Bric del Fiasc’. Alessio, being a producer himself, had personal connections with both winemakers and brought great expertise about the region's wine culture and history. I highly recommend him.archiegham on the Private Barolo wine tour with a winemaker tour

This tour is absolutely essential. Giovanni and Marco were incredible hosts, guiding us through various local vineyards where we sampled a wide range of delightful wines. They were not only knowledgeable and considerate, but also very funny. We gained insights into local wine varieties, the history of the region, and the viticulture process, and they helped us arrange shipping for the wines we bought from the vineyards.Jake_H on the Barolo and Barbaresco wine tour with a local winemaker tour
  • Barolo wine tasting tour in Langhe from Turin

    4.8· 15 reviewsFrom ₹43,407

Half-day or full-day tours exploring Barolo wine, visiting local cellars and villages, including La Morra and Barolo.

This tour was incredible, with our group being picked up from our hotel in Turin. We chose the full-day option, which was truly worth both the time and money. The Northwest Italian region is breathtaking. We explored two fantastic wineries, participated in wine tastings, and had the chance to buy wine at each location. The included lunch was exceptional, too. Our guide was very knowledgeable and engaging, while our driver skillfully navigated the hilly roads around Barolo. Although we visited Alba, it would have been nice to dine there, especially since it was the beginning of truffle season. Overall, this tour serves as a wonderful introduction to the Piedmont wine region, and I highly recommend it for anyone looking to escape the city while in Turin.Eugene W on the Barolo wine tasting tour in Langhe from Turin tour
