This tour was incredible, with our group being picked up from our hotel in Turin. We chose the full-day option, which was truly worth both the time and money. The Northwest Italian region is breathtaking. We explored two fantastic wineries, participated in wine tastings, and had the chance to buy wine at each location. The included lunch was exceptional, too. Our guide was very knowledgeable and engaging, while our driver skillfully navigated the hilly roads around Barolo. Although we visited Alba, it would have been nice to dine there, especially since it was the beginning of truffle season. Overall, this tour serves as a wonderful introduction to the Piedmont wine region, and I highly recommend it for anyone looking to escape the city while in Turin.
I highly recommend this wine tasting tour. We were collected from our hotel in a comfortable sedan, accompanied by both a driver and a guide. Our guide spoke fluent English and shared valuable insights about the Piedmont region, including its wine and history.
Alberto, our guide, was both passionate and well-informed. He shared extensive knowledge about the region's history and its wines, providing details on each wine we sampled. We also had the chance to visit a quaint farmers market. I strongly recommend this tour.
