Heritage walks, museum days, temple complexes, and the kind of guides who explain why a place matters rather than reciting dates. The cultural side of Diani Beach, paced for actual seeing.
1Seven hours total — visit Fort Jesus, Old Town, spice markets, and the Akamba Craft Centre, with 3 hours of travel from Diani Beach included.
“The trip to Mombasa was enjoyable, with our guide taking us to Fort Jesus, Old Town, and the Spice Market, where he addressed all our questions. We then visited the famous bumps and a Hindu temple, where we received insights about the temple. Finally, we explored how various characters are crafted from different woods and had some shopping opportunities. Overall, it met our expectations and allowed us to experience Mombasa.”— VeronikaW782

“Our experience in Kenya with Omar as our guide was incredible. We felt fortunate to have him, especially since he speaks excellent Italian, which enhanced our understanding and enjoyment. Omar provided clear and engaging explanations throughout our journey, both during the safari and beyond. His knowledge and passion allowed us to truly appreciate every moment of the experience. His careful and safe driving, along with his pleasant company, made even the longest drives enjoyable and relaxing. Omar is not just a fantastic guide but also a genuinely kind and helpful person. Thank you, Omar, for making our trip more beautiful and memorable. We sincerely hope to see you again!”— Federico C
3Full-day trip from Diani Beach — dolphin spotting, snorkeling in Kisite Mpunguti, Wasini Island lunch, and a visit to Shimoni Slave Caves included.
“This day tour was truly exceptional from beginning to end. We had the amazing fortune to witness dolphins swimming freely in the ocean, which was a magical moment. The snorkeling was remarkable, featuring crystal-clear waters and vibrant marine life that left us in awe. Following the ocean activities, we enjoyed a delicious, flavorful lunch that was very satisfying. Everything was organized and laid-back. The walk through Wasini village provided a lovely glimpse into local culture and daily life, while visiting the Shimoni slave caves was a powerful and educational experience that added significant depth to our day. The guides were professional, friendly, and knowledgeable, always ensuring our comfort and enjoyment. This tour perfectly combines adventure, relaxation, culture, and history. I highly recommend it to anyone exploring the Kenyan coast—it's a once-in-a-lifetime experience we will always cherish.”— salgados2025
4Two days, private transport — visit Salt Lick Lodge and Taita Hills Wildlife Sanctuary, see wildlife and relax at a renowned lodge.
“Having Benjam as our guide made our first safari in Kenya truly unforgettable. From the moment he picked us up, his warm welcome made us feel comfortable. On the drive to the national park, he shared insightful information about the trees and plants we saw. At the park, he answered all our questions professionally, showcasing his 18 years of experience. His driving skills also contributed to our peace of mind. We appreciated how he respectfully let animals pass and turned off the engine to avoid disturbing them. We encountered lions, elephants, pumbas, zebras, giraffes, and many more. This engaging and heartfelt adventure was thanks to Benjamin, who consistently made us feel at ease. If you're interested in learning about the animals in Tsavo National Park, we highly recommend choosing Benjamin as your guide. Kevin and Peggy from Germany.”— peggyo775

6A full-day excursion from Diani Beach to Kisite Marine Park and Wasini Island, snorkel in rich marine habitats and spot dolphins in their natural environment.
“I did not see any dolphins on this trip. The pickup took around 4 hours due to crowding, and I spent that entire time in a hot car without air conditioning. We arrived late, and the boat captain informed us it was too late to see the dolphins. I spent $100 for this experience, only to be disappointed. Instead of a proper excursion, they asked for tips despite not providing a service, leaving me tired, in a bad mood, and feeling like I wasted both money and vacation time. If you want to see dolphins, it's better to rent your own transportation early in the morning and book a spot on a boat. Don't repeat my mistake; doing it this way will be much cheaper and more comfortable than enduring 8 hours in a car without air conditioning.”— sergey972
