Wildlife, forests, gardens, and the green pockets of Cape Canaveral that make it bearable in monsoon and beautiful by November. Day trips and short drives where the landscape is the point.
1Up to five hours from Port Canaveral to Kennedy Space Center, with luggage security and transportation to Orlando airport or your hotel.
2Full day fishing trip targeting species like Sailfish, Wahoo, Tuna, and Grouper in the Atlantic Ocean off Cape Canaveral.
“It was a fantastic experience. Tim demonstrated his professionalism throughout. Everyone enjoyed themselves, and many of us managed to catch fish such as mahi mahi and barracuda. I strongly recommend this outing for anyone wanting to enjoy time on the water.”— 11zivenc
3Six hours on the Atlantic Ocean targeting species like Sailfish, Tuna, and Snapper, equipped with local expertise and tackle included.
“The morning fishing tour was enjoyable and lasted half a day. Captain Joey was excellent, ensuring that everyone in the group was well taken care of. While the fish caught were mostly small for keeping, we had a fantastic time. The boat offered comfort, contributing to a laid-back atmosphere throughout the trip. I would gladly participate again on our next visit.”— 2024elvies
4Two hours paddling through Florida’s bioluminescent lagoon — a small group guided tour with certified naturalists watching for glowing marine life.
“Nigel proved to be an excellent guide, sharing his extensive knowledge and ensuring we experienced the bioluminescence. It was an extraordinary sight that catered to both kids and adults.”— Denise_S
5Access to 49 challenges and 7 zip lines at 45 ft high, with options catering to all fitness levels among ancient oaks.
“The experience was quite enjoyable overall. Although the park is smaller than anticipated, you can easily spend a couple of hours there. The staff members are friendly and accommodating. This attraction suits families with children or those seeking a mild thrill, as nothing is too frightening, but it’s worth considering your comfort level before visiting. Spectators can watch from the ground without needing a ticket, which is a plus. There were few visitors on the day I went, leading to minimal waiting times, and you’re free to try the activities multiple times. However, I find the $50 price tag a bit high for what’s offered. I had fun and would return if in the area, but it isn't something I would plan an entire day around. The staff truly excelled and deserve recognition for their service.”— 846bananab
6Two-hour guided kayak tour along the Indian River, spotting manatees and dolphins in their natural habitat.
“I had an excellent experience as a kayaking beginner. We spotted dolphins, sea turtles, and manatees along the way. Our guide, Gabe, provided a wealth of information.”— Chandra_P
7Two hours of casual riding — group tour on electric bikes through Port Canaveral and Cocoa Beach, with stops at local attractions and optional pub visits.
“Our guide Eric was incredibly knowledgeable and engaged throughout the tour. He checked in with us at each stop and ensured the pace was comfortable. Our family had a fantastic day with him, and it was truly an unforgettable experience. Thank you, Eric! We had a lot of fun, and Gilliagan was charming as well.”— Marcie_G
8Two hours on calm waters — guided bioluminescence kayak tour in Indian River Lagoon, suitable for ages six and up, with single and double kayaks available.
“Our experience was terrible. I arranged for a babysitter for my three kids, took my wife out for dinner, and we arrived for our kayaking date night only to find the company did not show up. We never got to kayak.”— Robert_P
9Two hours of kayaking through mangroves and tidal flats — guided wildlife viewing for manatees, dolphins, and various birds with support for all skill levels.
“The guide was friendly and knowledgeable, but the company's attitude was lacking. We arrived 10 minutes early at 10:00 only to find out we should have been there at 9:45, and the group had already left. There was no transportation provided from the meeting point to the embarkation site, which necessitated an $18 Uber ride. We also did not see manatees, and were informed that sightings are less than 50% likely. However, the mangrove was beautiful, and we did spot a dolphin. It was frustrating but not completely disappointing.”— JorgeM_B
10Private van transport from Port Canaveral to Orlando Airport — convenient group transfer for up to 11 passengers, with complimentary child seats available.
“I made a booking for transportation to the port for my family, fully paid in advance for both the trip to the port and the return to Orlando after our cruise. When we waited at the hotel, no one arrived, and my calls and messages went unanswered. We were forced to find alternate transport at our own expense and ended up missing our check-in time. They eventually responded with an apology and promised a refund, but after speaking with several people at their company, I have yet to see any refund. They also stopped responding to me. I strongly advise against using their services; it's not worth jeopardizing a special trip.”— K5104CKbrianh
