Private cars with an English-speaking driver are the standard for Bali day trips — typically a Toyota Innova or similar (4 pax) or a tempo traveller (6–10 pax). Departure is usually 7–8 AM, return 7–9 PM. Bring snacks; rest stops are functional, not destination.
Most operators take a 24-hour cancellation policy with full refund. Pre-booking saves no money but guarantees availability on weekends in peak season (Oct–Feb). For destinations with entry tickets (forts, parks), the operator usually handles tickets and queue-skipping — confirm what's included before you pay.
