Our guides, Edward, Rainy, and Tom, were truly exceptional. While entering the first Class II rapid, I hesitated and found myself sideways against a rock, but Edward was there to ensure I was okay. After tipping over again, Rainy assisted me back onto her kayak and helped me return to my own. The calm stretches of the river were beautiful, and I enjoyed watching peregrine falcons, though the headwinds made things challenging. Edward kindly towed me when needed, and after my third tumble from a rapid, Tom cheered for my "good swim" as he helped me recover my kayak. Rainy got us into wet suits to keep warm on the cool 61-degree day. For just $100 each, we had an unforgettable 2.5 hours of kayaking with attentive support from our friendly guides.
