The farm itself is a beautiful location, and we had the opportunity to make chocolate from scratch, which included roasting the beans, peeling them, and grinding them into a paste using a hand grinder. We also sampled unique drinks. The lunch provided was delightful, both tasty and beautifully presented. We crafted our own chocolate bars with various toppings according to our preferences, and the chocolate quality was outstanding. Meeting the cocoa farm owners was a great experience, and we could purchase chocolate bars at a very fair price. On our way back to Guayaquil, Mario took us to see highlights such as a church, a lovely street, and the iguana park, sharing the city’s history and answering all our questions about life in Ecuador.
