    2. Weekend adventure in New Hampshire: biking, kayaking and hiking

    5.0· 1 reviews· 3 days

Three days of cycling, hiking, and kayaking in New Hampshire's White Mountains—all while glamping in nature's tranquility.

The team at Great American Bike Tour was fantastic, and the overall experience was exceptional. Daily rides along the Erie Canal were well-organized, informative, and the directions via the Ride with GPS app were precise. Ron provided extensive stories and interesting facts about our stops, while Diane was wonderfully organized and pleasant. The non-guided yet well-supported format was ideal for us to enjoy our time together while staying on track. I look forward to touring with GABT again.tomkP8661RV

The lake was stunning. Our group of three, along with our guide, learned about the lake's history and the local wildlife. He also allowed us plenty of time to fully appreciate the surroundings.Karen_T
  4. Winnipesaukee Scenic Railroad train rides, White Mountains4

    4. Winnipesaukee Scenic Railroad train rides

    4.7· 7 reviews

Experience scenic train rides through New Hampshire’s Lakes Region, with routes between Meredith, Weirs Beach, Lakeport, and Laconia, all within a historic railway setting.

This was an excellent option, even with the rain. It was a relaxing and comfortable experience. We enjoyed a nostalgic train ride while chatting and snacking, taking in the lake views. The seats and table were cozy, but the frequent loud train horn sounds disrupted our conversations during the first half of the trip, happening almost every 3-4 minutes. I also think it would have been better if the snack car had arrived earlier. These are minor complaints, just worth noting.AgnesBoston
