Ten hours in a guided van visiting Yosemite's major attractions, including Half Dome, El Capitan, and Yosemite Falls, with free time to explore at your own pace.

The entire experience was conducted in a professional manner, providing valuable insights and proving to be very worthwhile. We opted for this tour to avoid the hassle of driving to Yosemite from Sunnyvale and taking in the park in one day. Our day commenced at 7:30 am, including a break at a Starbucks mid-way. Upon arrival, we made a few photo stops before enjoying lunch around noon. Our itinerary included visiting the gift shop, Bridalveil Falls, Half Dome, and El Capitan, and along the route, we spotted several waterfalls. Our driver was accommodating, giving us time for photos and brief hikes. However, during our mid-March visit, heavy snowfall limited our hiking opportunities and impacted some views. Ultimately, this introductory experience was worthwhile, and we are likely to consider spending more than one day on a future trip for a deeper exploration.Steven_J

We had a fantastic day in Monterey. Ben was very accommodating in planning our itinerary and offered additional suggestions for our short stay in California. Our driver, Carlos, was friendly, accommodating, and clearly communicated the schedule. Everyone, including our young adult children, enjoyed the trip, which struck a perfect balance between driving and exploring. Although we only had a day to see Big Sur, Carmel, and Monterey, this tour inspired us to return for a longer visit.Allison_C

I want to share my thoughts on my recent tour experience, which unfortunately did not meet my expectations in several ways: 1) Group Size and Time Management Our group had over 50 participants, despite the stated limit of 12 travelers, and restroom stops lasted around 10 minutes each, which caused significant delays. 2) Language Expectation Although the tour was advertised as an English-speaking tour, the majority of it was conducted in Mandarin, leading to confusion. 3) Bus Seating Privileges I was unaware of the option to purchase seats in the first three rows of the bus, as this information was not offered to us. Clarification on how these seating privileges were communicated would be helpful. 4) Bus Facilities and Communication The bus only had one exit, making it inefficient for such a large group to board and alight. Additionally, the tour guide's audio announcements were hard to hear, which created confusion. 5) Optional Tours Notification We only learned about optional tours on the second day, by which time many of us, including my family, did not have enough cash to participate. 6) Day 3 Dinner Arrangement The dinner on the third day was poorly organized. Those not opting for the Chinese set meal had to find their own food and ended up eating outside on a cold public bench near a supermarket, which was quite unpleasant. 7) Room Allocation Issue We booked accommodation for three guests, yet on Day 3, we were given a room meant for only two. The group was divided between two accommodation areas, causing us to reach our hotel around 10 pm due to extra waiting. 8) While many issues may stem from the company’s arrangements, I want to commend our tour guide, Mr. Charles, for his patience and effort to accommodate the large group. The destinations and scenery were truly remarkable.Tan_K
