02This self-guided audio tour takes you through Pondicherry's unique French colonial heritage in Tamil Nadu, unlike most Indian cities with British roots. Starting at the Marquis Dupleix Statue in White Town, you'll stroll along Promenade Beach and deeper into this quaint and colorful former French colony. Discover significant buildings including the rare baroque Immaculate Conception Cathedral, the vibrant Hindu temple Arulmigu Manakula Vinayagar Devasthanam, and the French Consulate's colonial mansion.
