Flaco is an excellent tour guide, showcasing deep knowledge and current archaeological and anthropological insights which he eagerly shared with us. He was friendly, cheerful, and attentive. Our driver, Dorian, was also commendable. The ruins were breathtaking, featuring an impressive array of pyramids and structures. However, the included lunch on the way back was disappointing; we were taken to a fast food chain with subpar food. We saw many local Belizean eateries along the route that we would have preferred instead.
This was a fantastic adventure. Our guide was excellent, and we had a lovely lunch at a local restaurant. The ruins were incredibly fascinating.
The Xunantunich ruins are truly magnificent. Our guide shared fascinating insights about Maya culture while leading us through the site, demonstrating impressive knowledge throughout the tour.
Dorian was an excellent guide, sharing a wealth of information about the Mayans and Belize. Even though Xunantunich was closed due to heavy rains, he quickly adapted and took us to another site. The drive offered a fantastic view of the inland villages and scenery of Belize. It turned out to be a wonderful day — I highly recommend it.
