Our visit during the off-peak season made us uncertain about a private tour, but everything changed when we met Percy. He picked us up at Cozy Corner in Placencia and treated us like old friends with his warm professionalism. His engaging conversations enriched our experience, and he provided valuable tips to enhance our trip. There were countless highlights, from the initial pickup to exploring the Ruins, enjoying a tasty lunch, and the unforgettable cave tubing. Eddie, who took over our tour, welcomed us with a cheerful smile and uplifting energy. Both guides clearly take pride in their country and their roles, ensuring our safety and comfort throughout the day. We wholeheartedly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Belize. We are grateful for the opportunity to book this experience and to Percy and Eddie for making our time in Belize truly memorable.
This tour far surpassed my expectations, and I'm incredibly happy I chose it for my wife and my anniversary. The ruins were stunning, especially the view from the top of El Castillo into Guatemala. The caves were equally breathtaking, filled with vibrant colors to enjoy. I wholeheartedly recommend this experience to anyone seeking adventure from Placencia.
We were instructed to wait in our hotel lobby at 6:50 for our pick-up, but no one arrived. After calling the provided number multiple times, we finally reached someone at 9:00, who claimed they hadn't seen our reservation until our call. Clearly, it seems they never checked. Unfortunately, they could not assist us, despite having several confirmations from Viator.
Percy and Kenyon from Royal Belizean Adventures provided an excellent experience. They picked us up at our rental for a private tour of Xanantunich. Our guide delivered an insightful overview of Mayan history and the ruins' excavation. The traditional chicken and rice lunch was quite tasty. We also relished tubing through a cave on a cool river while discovering the Mayan connection to the cave. Overall, it was a fantastic day filled with exploration and education.
Our tour driver, Percy, provided exceptional service. He shared extensive knowledge about the landscapes, wildlife, towns, and local culture while accommodating our needs. He also set us up with fantastic guides at the Mayan ruins and for cave tubing, which was a highlight. The ruins were stunning, but I struggled with the three river crossings since I'm not a strong swimmer, and the final river was quite rough. However, our guide Eddie was wonderful and allowed us to walk to the cave entrance, which took about 20 minutes but let me enjoy tubing for the first time. Once we started tubing, Eddie handled everything while my husband and I simply relaxed and took in the breathtaking cave scenery.
Percy and Jeff demonstrated a strong passion and pride for their country, which was evident during our entire experience. The punctual pickup was followed by an engaging and culturally rich ride to various activities. Percy and Jeff made us feel like family, ensuring we were comfortable, safe, and having a great time. I would highly recommend this tour company, and if I return to Belize, they will be my first choice.
Cave tubing and exploring Mayan ruins was a fantastic experience. Our guide, Jeff, was very knowledgeable and informative about the area's history. The cave tubing itself felt magical and is suitable for all ages, including young children. The hike involves crossing the river three times, and we saw a 5-year-old navigate it easily with her father. My teenagers enjoyed it as well. Although the journey from Placencia is lengthy, the comfortable ride allows for valuable insights from the guides. I highly recommend this adventure.
The entire experience was nothing short of spectacular. Our guide Percy was exceptional, showcasing a remarkable depth of knowledge about the history and culture.
What an incredible day discovering Belize! We spent the entire day visiting the Zoo, Cave Tubing, and the Ruins. Our guide provided extensive knowledge about every location and experience throughout the day.
An exceptional experience overall. Percy was respectful, attentive, and professional, showing great regard for Belize's culture and our time, interests, and abilities. We felt unhurried, yet we stayed on schedule. Knowledgeable, articulate, and pleasant, he suggested an unexpected visit to the Belize Zoo, which added to our adventure. The wildlife, including toucans, crocodiles, and jaguars, was a memorable highlight. Strong work indeed.
