Experiencing the natural wonders of Belize was truly magical. We began by climbing to the rainforest canopy and then enjoyed seven zip lines, the final one crossing a river. The beautiful trees and flowers surrounded us, and our guides, Victor and Kelvin, ensured our safety and comfort. After a brief drive, we went cave tubing, where Eric provided detailed explanations about the unique tree species on our 25-minute hike, as well as the ancient Mayan rituals associated with the caves. Even with other visitors at the tubing site, we felt completely alone in the serene cave system. It was a refreshing, relaxing, and memorable experience. My children had a great time and gained a lot of knowledge. We even spotted a family of coatimundi on our way back.
Consider opting for a different tour. This experience might suit those who have never tried major ziplines in Central America or are introducing nervous toddlers to their first zipline adventure. If you're already experienced, you'll likely find this zipline to be rather mild. The journey to the location is lengthy, though the guide shared engaging information about Belize during the drive, which many found more memorable than the ziplining itself. The cave tubing was adequate, but it didn't quite resemble a lazy river ride. At the cave's entrance, there’s a dammed section of the river where the guide ties all the tubes together and pulls you across to view some pottery that might date back to the Incans, before returning you to the starting point. You can jump into the water for the last 50 feet of the ride. Overall, we wouldn’t choose this tour again as it felt overpriced for what was offered.
Ricky was incredibly knowledgeable and patient with me and my two children. He ensured we experienced as much as possible, and we learned a great deal today. I am very pleased with our guide.
Our experience was fantastic. Despite the rainy weather, which kept the crowds away, we were the only ones in our group, allowing for extensive one-on-one interaction with our guide. He was knowledgeable, humorous, and very engaging. I highly recommend this tour.
Thank you, Edgar, for an incredible tour! Your knowledge and fun demeanor made it memorable. We really enjoyed the zip line and the Cave Branch experience. You're the best.
Edgar truly enhanced our time in Belize, becoming like family as he shared his deep love and knowledge of the area. His enthusiasm for the culture is infectious. He went above and beyond to find unique experiences for us, and we are deeply thankful. We learned so much from him about the jungle, local plants, wildlife, Mayan rituals, and caves. Having traveled extensively, we can confidently say Edgar is the finest tour guide we've ever encountered. Thank you, Edgar.
Edgar from Belize was our guide, and he made for an exceptional experience. He provided special walking poles that helped with the climb and shared a wealth of information. We thoroughly enjoyed the tour.
This experience was unbelievable and truly deserves a spot on everyone's bucket list for a lifetime. Our guide, Edgar, a local legend, provided an exceptional tour that deserves more than just five stars. He enriched our understanding of Belize and passionately shared his extensive knowledge of Mayan culture, making our adventure even more engaging. The meal we enjoyed at a local restaurant featured delicious homegrown cuisine. As we explored the cavern and river, Edgar ensured our safety while zip lining across various landscapes. The Belizean zip line guides also educated us on jungle foraging and introduced us to unique tastes we would not have tried otherwise. I can't thank Edgar enough for creating such a memorable highlight. Overall, this was an incredibly cost-effective guided trip of a lifetime.
Edgar made the experience unforgettable! He was humorous, lively, and an excellent guide. This was our third visit to the caves in Belize, and it continues to impress. Kudos to the tour operator! We will certainly return.
Make sure to ask for Edgar during your tour. He truly enhanced our experience. He is a fantastic guide, and the activities, including cave tubing, hiking, waterfalls, and exploring Mayan ruins, were enjoyable. We spent two days with him and my family, and it was definitely the highlight of our trip.
