This local-led tour takes you from the Port of Picton to the Marlborough Wine region, lasting four to five hours. You'll visit 3-4 wineries known for their Sauvignon Blanc and Pinot Noir, with opportunities to taste a range of award-winning wines and enjoy local gourmet treats at each stop.
Relax in a winery garden café or take in the views while enjoying a platter of cheese, meat, and seafood overlooking the Wairau Valley. The tour concludes with timely return to Picton, allowing for spectacular views of Picton Port and the Queen Charlotte Sound from a lookout point before heading back to your ship.

We recently took a ferry to Picton and enjoyed a bus tour of the Marlborough Wine region, staying overnight in Blenheim. The autumn colors of the vineyards in April were stunning, and each of the three wineries we visited offered warm hospitality and insightful information about their products. We stopped at Hunter's Wines, Saint Clair (where we savored an excellent cheese platter), and concluded our tour at Forrest winery. Ending the day at the Makana chocolate factory made for a truly unforgettable experience.
Pamela, our driver and the owner of the company, provided an excellent experience. We visited fantastic wineries and had a lovely day with a small group. The weather was ideal, and we returned to our ship well ahead of schedule.

Pam led a fantastic tour through Marlborough's wine region. The trip was well-organized with pre-planned stops, and she was flexible enough to accommodate our extra requests. We visited some excellent wineries and had a great time. This option is much better than the overpriced excursions offered by the cruise ships; the service was reliable and punctual.
