USS Wisconsin — places to visit in Norfolk
USS Wisconsin in Norfolk — view 2
The USS Wisconsin is a battleship that served the United States Navy from 1944 until 1991, now permanently docked as a museum ship along the Elizabeth River in Norfolk. One of the largest and last battleships built by the U.S., it measures over 800 feet long and is a notable example of Cold War naval power. Visitors can explore many of the ship's decks, including the bridge and gun turrets, giving a glimpse into life aboard during its active years. The attached Nauticus maritime museum enriches the experience with interactive exhibits and maritime history, making this a worthwhile stop for history enthusiasts. The surrounding downtown area also offers various dining options with views of the river.

Access to Norfolk's Battleship Wisconsin, Nauticus, and Virginia Zoo — tickets valid until December 31, 2026, with no date restrictions for visits.

The ticket is a great deal, though we faced an issue picking them up at the specified location when we couldn't print them. Eventually, we accessed the first attraction without any problems. This might have been influenced by the Government shutdown, as some attractions were Federal. It was a minor hassle, but overall we had a wonderful experience and would advise others to buy these tickets.floridagal970 on the Combo ticket for Battleship Wisconsin and Virginia Zoo in Norfolk tour
