The ticket is a great deal, though we faced an issue picking them up at the specified location when we couldn't print them. Eventually, we accessed the first attraction without any problems. This might have been influenced by the Government shutdown, as some attractions were Federal. It was a minor hassle, but overall we had a wonderful experience and would advise others to buy these tickets.
The combination tickets were excellent. We used them for Naticus and the USS Wisconsin on Saturday and plan to visit the Virginia Zoo later this week. It was perfect for our group with young kids who were worn out after a few hours of activities.
Expect a fair amount of walking. The stairs aboard the Battleship are quite steep. The Zoo is beautifully arranged and has a natural appearance.
The USS Wisconsin and Nauticus are highly recommended. Even without the guided tour, visiting the battleship is an incredible experience. Nauticus offers a wealth of hands-on educational opportunities for small adventures. I would certainly tour the battleship again, and the added tour was truly outstanding.
An excellent experience, this combo tour surprised me with the intricate details of the battleship. The zoo, though small, was well-organized.
It would be helpful to have the option to print tickets instead of having to pick them up at the center. The zoo is still a 15-minute drive from there.
The passport to fun was fantastic. It offered great value and was perfect for kids. The zoo impressed us with all the animals being lively, but we especially loved the battleship and museum.
My first time attending was wonderful. The staff were exceptionally helpful, and parking was convenient. I will definitely return as there’s plenty to do. The only downside was that the café was closed for renovations.
I had a wonderful time at the Virginia Zoo. The diversity of animals was impressive, and I appreciated that they were housed in enclosures that resembled their natural habitats rather than in cages.
An excellent experience with very knowledgeable staff and guides.
