    3. Private sunset cruise aboard a 50ft yacht in Charleston

    5.0· 2 reviews· 3 hours

Two hours on a private yacht — enjoy the sunset views, wildlife sightings, and your choice of food and beverages along Charleston's waterways.

We initially intended to take a power boat tour but instead enjoyed a sunset cruise on a luxurious 50 ft sailboat, which was amazing. It was the ideal way to say goodbye to 2025 and welcome 2026. Although it was chilly, the enclosed cockpit made us feel cozy. There's no need to worry about the cold when booking this; just dress appropriately and allow Captains Jen and Janet to take care of everything. We admired the stunning Charleston harbor, passed under a drawbridge, and even spotted dolphins! Plus, we actually sailed. Captains Jen and Janet were outstanding hosts and superb sailors. I highly recommend this experience and can’t wait to do it again on our next visit to Charleston.530mega

Our shark tooth adventure with Sundog Sailing in Charleston was extraordinary. The captains were warm and welcoming, making the experience enjoyable for our family. They were especially great with our kids, showing patience and engagement, allowing our son to "drive" the boat, which created lasting memories. Throughout the tour, they shared extensive knowledge about the area, including tips on searching for various shark teeth and fossils to enhance our success. Their passion for their work and their commitment to providing a memorable outing was evident. If you are in Charleston and seeking a unique family-friendly experience, we strongly recommend Sundog Sailing. 3. Charleston Harbor dinner cruise with live music, Mount Pleasant6

    6. Charleston Harbor dinner cruise with live music

    4.1· 643 reviews· 2.5 hours

Two and a half hours on the water — a three-course dinner with live music and views of Charleston's landmarks like Fort Sumter and the Ravenel Bridge.

We were billed for a ginger ale, and I think a soda should have been included since we paid $100 per person for the dinner cruise. They also charged extra for dessert. Patrick did his best given the number of tables he had to manage.Eric D
